Richard Brotherton has faithfully served PSD for 20.5 years, specifically Gig Harbor High School. As a service worker/custodian, he oversees building operations. He is described by many as being cheerful and joyful in serving. He always has an infectious smile on his face and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
His dedication and commitment to the GHHS community will be greatly missed. He is embarking on a new journey -- retiring this week.

Suek, 31, is on her first year as the Gig Harbor High School Athletic Director. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelor's degree in English literature and a master's degree in secondary education. As a student she played volleyball for PLU and earned All American honors her senior year. She spent eight years at Steilacoom High School as the head volleyball coach, taking her team to state in the 2021-2022 school year. She also spent four years as the school's athletic coordinator. This spring she graduated from Eastern Washington University with her administrative certificate.
She has been featured recently on GH Now, a local online publication.

Josh Lucas is an American actor. He is best known for his roles in various films, including American Psycho (2000), You Can Count on Me (2000), The Deep End (2001), A Beautiful Mind (2001), Sweet Home Alabama (2002), Hulk (2003), An Unfinished Life (2005), Glory Road (2006), Poseidon (2006), Life as We Know It (2010), The Lincoln Lawyer (2011), Red Dog (2011), J. The family finally settled in Gig Harbor, Washington, where Lucas attended Kopachuck Middle School and then Gig Harbor high school. He graduated in 1989. The school had an award-winning drama/debate program and Lucas won the State Championship in Dramatic Interpretation and competed at the 1989 National Championship.

MIKE CONAN
Mike Conan is a Gig Harbor high school graduate, class of 1990. Upon graduation he went to University of Washington. He then went to the seminary and became a pastor in Redmond, Los Angeles, and Portland. He and his wife Michelle moved back to the harbor in 2019. He currently works with Bill Duppenthaler, former Gig Harbor young life director, at a discipleship ministry called Our True Legacy. He has four kids who will all be attending GHHS. He is a booster for the GHHS baseball team and was an assistant coach with the baseball program last year. |
